Good for you, the general public somehow ignores stuff like that and goes for the whizzbang stuff.
Also, Porsche is *far* from infallible... Plenty of modern era Porsches I’ve looked at, as a prospective buyer, had issues.

It’s a Porsche... To get anywhere near the content found in a Model S you’ll be paying $100k+, even if the base price is in the lower $80k range.
How exactly did they sell 1000 Jimnys per month (of the old model) when they’re only going to be making 2000 per year of the new model? I think something’s off....
Now we just need some Kia Stinger GTs in the Aussie Supercars series :)
Does anybody else find these videos with the crazy jump cuts between views really annoying? Just give me one view! This isn’t an artistic piece, like Climb Dance, knock it off, sheesh.
GT350 was a solid substitute for my old BRZ... I bought a Focus RS in between and the lack of revs just utterly killed it for me. It was pretty boring having a flat wall of torque that fell off up top. Give me peaky NA engines!
Well the WRX trans... yeah, it’s too weak... if you launch it. *shrug*
It’s pathetic how bad dealers are. I wish I could just order a car online and have it show up in a couple of weeks or whatever, lol.
They didn’t try very hard to sell them, IMO. Putting manuals only in the base models and then dealers don’t offer them anyway. How is anybody supposed to buy a manual if you can’t actually find one?
They have all the excuses too, “manuals are too weak!” (then why do you have one for the STI & WRX?) or “oh, people don’t buy them so we can’t justify developing them”
Make it easier to buy them then... Not many people are willing to sacrifice creature comforts for a manual these days.
I love (read: hate) that manufacturers blame buyers for not ordering manuals or turbos or whatever, when in most cases the dealer just buys things that they think will sell, so it makes shopping suck. It almost guarantees that casual buyers will buy the basic options, but if the other options were available they would…
and then get bombarded with the shit storm of self-playing videos and ads? fuck that.
Finally!
Hopefully the new network is as great as speedvision was in its heyday!
Goodyear can get bent.
That’s because they’re not trying to sell them. Likely have a silly dealer markup on them even though they’re not selling.
Dealers suck.
I received a ticket for driving 1 or 2 mph under the speed limit. Thanks Ohio... The cop insisted that I was speeding in a school zone. No kids around or flashing school zone lights lit up, but whatever.
Heck, I just got a notification on a post (turns out it was this one... why can’t you tell us that?) and the page loaded in a hideous malformed state!
Can we just fix all the friggin bugs with the current Kinja? holy cow it’s awful. I have to refresh the page 75% of the time because it loaded in some bizarre malformed state.
How speed limits are set:
1. A speed limit is chosen based on math and physics and intelligence
The Z that hasn’t been meaningfully updated in nearly a decade? and the GT-R that’s only been marginally updated for the same time period?
Yep... :(
