I’m not saying FWD is bad, but they’d have neutered it to the point of uselessness. Nissan hasn’t made a properly fun FWD car in ages.

FWIW I daily drive a GTI, I’m well versed in FWD’s limitations. I don’t mind them, you can still have a blast without a ton of power. I just don’t think Nissan “has it” anymore.

Do you honestly think Nissan wouldn’t have found a way to ruin this?

I’m almost glad Nissan killed this car off, they would have ruined it by making it a FWD econobox with zero redeeming qualities other than vaguely looking like the IDx

and this is how you screw things up for the rest of the rally fans, drivers, coordinators...

Sucks to see the guy got hurt but c’mon, use your brain.

Honestly, I’d really like the new Acura sedans if the grille was like 2/3rd the size and a little lower so the hoodline wasn’t pretty much flat from the top of the grille to the cowl.

The old G35 hasn’t aged extremely well but the proportions of things on the front end were good.

The 2nd gen Fusion was nice, 3rd gen (or

I just can’t get over the “giant gaping mouth” of these modern cars, especially since most of the giant hole is blanked off for various reasons

I dunno, has he looked at his own cars before making that statement?

Keep fighting the good fight. Nobody in charge seems to care :(

Yeah, some foul language from Clarkson about the Rimac when they have their race.

Yeah the form factor of my old GTI is awesome, I love it for bombing around back roads. The seating position is both comfortable yet offers a pretty commanding view of the road. Modern cars pretty much can’t compare to that experience, but they’re also a lot safer...

Trade for a teste? I have more than enough, but I also have an old GTI that needs a new home before it finds its way into a burn pile... Biggest money pit I’ve ever owned. I love flogging on it, but holy crap is it needy.

Driving on summer tires in winter.

Too bad they’re killing a ton of useful extensions/add-ons in the process :(

lol. just messing with you... but seriously, front plates are FUGLY.

Net positive? So it’s ok to make the environment incrementally worse by forcing people to put incredibly unaerodynamic front plates on?

I will simply never understand why anybody is FOR having no option of pumping your own gas. Let the lazy SOBs (that would rather have some disgusting slob put the wrong octane in their car while spilling gas all over and simultaneously skimming their card, all while ten other people wait their turn for the guy to pump

They’re hideous and horrible unaerodynamic (most manufacturers design the car and then design some crappy bracket to bolt on and make holes in the bumper to mount a plate... which ruins the looks & aero they designed)

I won’t run a front plate... ever.

This is all too confusing. Why would they refuse to replace it? Does nobody in the team have common sense?

Lovefab Enviate Hypercar, like the post I replied to said :P

Not to be a smart-ass, but look at the post I replied to :P
