The old VHS camcorders at least had a form factor that made sense. If I saw someone using a big film camera now I wouldn't laugh at them, using an iPad to take pictures/video makes you look like a tool because the form factor is ridiculous.

I've been driving a 1990 Toyota pickup with nearly 300k miles and it still runs well. Strange failures over the years and it has the performance of a small tugboat, but it's a beast.
