The spikes on the wheels are completely worthless. This isn't some Ben Hur style shit going down during the Zombie Apocalypse. You just widened the car's path making it a bit more useless than it already was with that gigantic cow catcher on the front.

Thanks for the explanation. I wish every car I've driven could be driven the way you describe with an aggressive entry, but they were mostly overweight GT cars with more power than necessary so they benefited from late apexes. I would have thought that was a late apex in the last image because an early apex would send you wide at corner exit, exactly what you don't want when you're transitioning to a corner that turns the opposite direction from the last.
