I don't even know why I opened this article. Of course it was going to be clickbait bs. 

Making a game easier if exactly the kind of change to drive me _away_. The vast majority of mainstream games heavily cater to the player. Finding ways to overcome challenges, without being spoon-fed, is a great feeling, and a feeling I get from too few games. I want the challenge; from the beginning of the game.
