If i were felt good enough after giving birth i would want to go home the same day. I mean who would choose a hospital bed over their own? And there is no way she would have been left home unless she was 100% fit and healthy.

Exactly. I think on the first birth, if the new mother is nervous then 1 or 2 days is fine. But i know if it were me, i’d want to be home in my bed as soon as possible.
