Fanaticism ~ Wildly excessive or irrational devotion, dedication or enthusiasm. The irrational devotion of course does NOT describe Dawkins. But the rest definitely does.
No. It's not the message. It's how it's delivered. When you see religious nuts on street corners shouting messages from god, that guy is a fanatic. Richard Dawkins does the same but for Athiesm. Just look on youtube and see how passionate he is about it.
