Interesting, it had supercharged shots/passes/tackles a la Midway games of the era.

This just in: Sony will not allow you to wear a Playstation shoe on your left foot while wearing an Xbox shoe on your right foot. Microsoft has confirmed they are fine with the practice.

While the “twist” was totally expected and trite, Coco was a wonderful movie. If you think otherwise you must be dead inside.

Wait I think I’ve played this game:

Have people arrested and prosecute, or make the money upfront? Seems like a simple choice for the video game companies.

If game bars are common enough in Japan, the video game companies could create a licensing or higher up-front fee for games to be used in the bars.

Even after Hamas themselves admitted the vast majority of those killed were its and Islamic Jihad’s terrorists? Guess it’s hard for Israel-haters to come to grips with reality and/or not support a terrorist organization?

IIRC (this was a while back), the reason I ran the patch on Doom was because they fixed a number of critical issues in the patch, namely epic amounts of screen-tearing.

You’ve explained my biggest pet peeve with games these days. I cracked open my brand-new PS4 Pro one Saturday night at 10 PM, ready to play Doom on disc. I started playing the first level at 1 AM.

“Shhh, don’t reveal my secret!”

Let it rip—there’s no way to over-process this stuff, and you want it to be as light as air.

Also, I don’t know if others find it problematic in the same way I do, but the PotG is invariably someone using an ult for this reason. But other critical non-ult plays are often more impressive, but can’t match the kill count of said moderately well-placed RIP tire. That said, it does seem a tough nut to crack

This really didn’t bother me all that much. I loved my Game Boy, which was monochromatic grey pixels on a yellow background, and this was similarly monochromatic, just red pixels on a black background.

I do recall that some third-party peripheral maker (or even Nintendo itself?) sold a strap system, but the Virtual Boy is way too heavy and protruding to make this a viable option. Sometimes I used lay down on my bed and let it rest on my face, but the weight meant that that got uncomfortable a little bit quicker than

I love my Virtual Boy. I did get it for $30 on clearance, but Teleroboxer marathons with my brother are a great memory. I still have it on display. It’s biggest flaw was there was no comfortable way to position yourself to use it (we laid on our stomachs on the floor, which was the best of the poor options).

Dang, I wonder how much it costs? If memory serves correctly, orphan tear futures are way up these days...

From the sound of it, keeping the delicious Coca-Cola flavors in frozen packet form was harder than you’d think.
