Adrenaline junkie?
Call me a show off if you like, but I think anything that can be described with the words swiss, army, and hammer
I did not know that. I'm more of a TNG fan myself, as I'm a bit young for the original, though I do enjoy the re-runs sporadically.
The one thing that strikes me is how westerners strive to disguise what it is they're actually eating. We seem to (for arguments sake) cut our animals into indistinguishable parts and cover them in a sauce. I think our flawed morality likes to have it that way.
I find 'prediction' too strong a word for the purposes of this discussion. The phrase 'life imitates art' springs to mind.
Didn't the designer of the original motorola flip-phone come out and say he designed it that way because he wanted a tricorder, not because it was the best design? I'm not positive, but that is what my brain is telling me for some reason or another.
Isn't there pretty much a formula for cuteness that includes giant eyes and small features?
I'm friends with a pretty imposing character, and if fisticuffs are to happen while perusing a bar and whatnot, it is generally him the douchingtons will start a fight with. Possibly to to prove their martial prowess against a worthy opponent.

How is your comment any more relevant? Grow up and stop pissing in our water.
I wonder if we shall ever become one human race, or whether a globalised economy could even work. What could we achieve as one people. The best and brightest from all nations working as one. Perhaps it would take a 'watchmen'-esque catastrophe to unite us against one enemy... Food for thought in any case.
I get what you're saying, but I still think that 'scientific literacy' as NdGT puts it, should be a worldwide goal, not just an American or first world one. I couldn't care less if my manned Mars missions or quantum computers originate in Russia, America, Uganda or otherwise. I find a patriotic sentiment amongst our…
I find it extraordinary that people like Bill Nye and Neil deGrasse Tyson seem so enlightened, yet still are trying to make it "so that the United States will again be the world leader in technology".
'Oh my god, I was wrong, it was Earth all along...'
I thoroughly enjoyed that interview. The questions were fantastic and the journalist was gorgeous. 10/10
