Considering new Veyrons are still available for sale, there are much better options now. Now 10 years ago...it was (and is) truly excellent, but...if I had my choice of the lot...I'd go Enzo or McLaren F1
Never saw the appeal of the Veyron for anything other than a future classic and insane straight line performance. If you wanted something that was fast, expensive, and could handle very well...buy one of the other hypercars
