People don’t want small cars, period.

My Fiesta hatch 1 liter is 2600 lbs, a Mazda 2 is 2400. It’s as close to an old Mk2 GTI as you can get from a chassis dynamics perspective.

I love the hell out of the Fiesta, but people always ask “ You make good money, why do you drive such a small car?” They don’t get it.

Model 3 Supercharging will not be free, sorry.

I work with the Ford guys who design/update that chassis, I’ll have to ask them what they thing about the suspension upgrades. I’m surprised they’d get it so wrong from the factory.

They’re too soft with the stock suspension?

Why would the drivetrain change the vehicle tracking?

Great, that’s perfect because I live in Detroit. That’ll sure help when I take my car to France or Brazil.

I need localized infrastructure.

It’s all about tone. This article pushed his website hard distracting from what he is trying to accomplish. If they would have said at the end “He also runs xyz website” I’d be totally fine with it.

Not helping, not helping at all.

This seems like an advertisement for his service. Seriously dislike “articles” like this. Stop it, stop it now.

I’ve seen the Bolts rolling around Detroit, I may or may not have taken one for a drive.

Unless you’ve seen them in person you don’t know what you’re getting. It’s truly a remarkable car.

Super clean B4 Passat Wagon diesel (obviously)?

Depends where you live. Here in the suburbs of Detroit stock ride height is king. Most things are tasteful.

My uncle had to cut out the drywall and bump the wall out so he could fit is 1968 Olds 98 in the garage.

Uhhh, come to Detroit and check out the 300's rolling around. Very little grace there.

The most important part.

Logical fallacy much?

The Corvette is a $60k car, it has always been affordable. The mid engine higher performance version will be 80k+. Your average guy in his 50's can’t afford a $80k+ car. That type of pricing would anger the fan base and hurt the brand as a whole.

Have you driven one? What about a Cayenne Turbo?

I’ve driven both, they’re great fun. Practical? Eh, maybe? But great fun. That’s what cars should be about.

They just developed this car, it was not designed for mid engine applications. They won’t replace the front engine corvette, they’ll design a new mid ship version as a different car.

GM won’t drop the front engine Corvette, I promise you that.

assbad, sasdab,sasdab,ssadab.
