It’s cool, they have a special ‘GASM filter.

It looks like this bus has seating for about 8 people including the driver.
How much line are you running through. 50 ft of 3/8ths line is a serious restriction. If you can run 1/2 inch line or bigger (with appropriate fittings) to get close to your point of use then transition to a smaller 3/8ths or whip hose at the tool.
Nope, it depends on how the pulses overlap, that’s all. Just like how the Subaru burble is simply a function of the header length. If you put the same header design on a 4 cylinder Honda you’d get something very similar.
With equal length runners the Subaru sounds like any other 4 cylinder.
You are incorrect. Engine noise is carefully controlled. I worked on a composite valve cover program where we tried to tune out specific undesirable frequencys but leave those that were more mechanically pleasant.
Everything you see, hear, touch is engineered to be that way.
It’s just late fuel injection and maybe a change timing change.
Who are you to tell people what they should drive?
What are you doing? Running a normal 1/2 inch impact?
Standard lines will work just fine, but the shorter the better. I run a 200 PSI compressor and then turn it down from there so my tool while running is seeing 90-100 psi.
The receiver is the more technically correct term for the air tank. You’ll hear them called that in more industrial settings.
The State sure cleaned it up. Now people drive the speed limit, the motorcyclists keep it reasonably quiet and the general feel of the place has improved greatly. The Conservatory and Aquarium are two of my favorite date spots. It’s also a perfect spot for a 5 mile bike ride.
Now you’re just trying to penalize the people who have money for a truck like that by saying “Oh, that’s too comfortable for you.”
I keep talking to my buddies at Ford trying to get them to release the 1.0 EB as a crate motor.
I DD a 1 liter Fiesta, it’s a phenomenal engine. Hell, I just towed 1400 lbs with it last night to get a spare OM617 home.
It sure looks similar.
At those speeds the airflow across the brakes it such that the thermal mass of the brakes is not terribly important. They’re going to dump that heat from the 110-80 stop in seconds.
The only place where thermal mass is very beneficial is in long downhill sections, heavy towing and on the race track.
You’re not going to…
Drums don’t impact 60-0 stops appreciably in the dry. They’re harder/slower to modulate with ABS but under full braking so much of the braking force is being provided by the disc brakes they don’t play a big role. Look at how small the rear brakes are on a Mustang GT or Corvette.
It’s all about tires not brakes. Any modern brake system can lock the tires, that means it’s those tires that are the limiting factor (not touching on ABS modulation).
Big brakes are over played as a safety feature, economy car brakes will stop you, you just won’t be able to do it back to back to back.
/Former brake…
.....We’re carbon based, you know what right?
They’re a style over substance brand. Look at the groups of people who want solid reliable engineering and look at the group who wants plasti-chrome bling. You’ll see a dividing line in the market.
You mean the old GT 40?
This GT and the old GT 40 live in completely different planes of existence. The old car, while impressive, may as well be from the stone age in comparison.
