If anything the reproductions drive better, handle better and let you push the real limits of the car. Unless you’re upper crust you can’t afford to risk stuffing an original.

With 200k on the clock you know every bit of the suspension is shot. For just new parts you’re in it for $1,000 + labor and sadness.

The battery placement is your biggest complaint with a 2.7T?

Have you driven one as a daily? I drove a G63 for about 10 days as a DD, it was great. A bit heavy but it’s not difficult to drive by any means.

If you buy it for the fun to drive aspects that’s great, I never mentioned that. Getting your ROI back was my concern. Something like a 1 liter Fiesta will be equally as fun to drive for $15k at ~38-48 mpg.

People like me that don’t have a ton of vacation time live off those cheap direct red eye flights. I take a dozen or so weekend red eye trips a year, the cost savings for me are substantial.

If he was a crook why would he suddenly change? People don’t change they simply get better at hiding their tactics.

The ones I have seen in recent years don’t seem to have a major corrosion issue.

The wealthy Koreans I know drive Audis...

Unless you sat in the room when the execs made the name decision you can’t possibly know.

Branding is not that straight forward. If the name has history and recognition you run with it. If you’re launching a new car you look at your sub brands and find one which consumer research reacts most positively too.

I don’t think you understand the amount of focus group market research which drives product

You need to learn some history. The Nissan GT-R name goes back to 1969.

But if there is no SRT/Viper branding in the country it makes sense. That’s like if GM brought a Holden to US shores. Without sporty Pontiac it would have to be a Chevy, it’s not Cadillac.
