You would buy a base Corvette because you don’t need any of the other bullshit. Spend your money on tires and trackdays.

It’s called a late 90’s Mitsubishi engine.

How do things like that get out the door?

I’d eat my hat if any modern F1 driver could do the same.

Put him in a race car and let the lap times decide.

This looks like it got hit with the autozone accessory aisle stick.

God how I loath those fucking headlights.

More useless shit and weight to carry in your truck for the 4 times a year you use them.

The parts are absolutely traceable, they all should come with a metalized ID sticker.

Yeah maybe. He did talk a lot about growing up in the UK and his model girlfriend. I don’t care enough to get into it TMZ style.

I’ve met the guy multiple times, this conclusion is not just from reading articles or watching youtube shorts.

Wes is also a raging asshole. He is not the relatable , humble guy you need for this type of journalism.

This is CP off the scale.

Electric vehicles actually have significantly less fires per 1,000 vehicles than conventional gas powered car. It’s just big news when an EV catches fire so you think it happens all the time.

When is the last time you saw a gasoline powered car fire on the news? You probably did not even take a second look.

It’s called research and development. Commercial aircraft are not the only application. Military, meteorological, survey, communications and search and rescue are only a few of the applications. Remember it’s the technology, not the package you see it in now.

Wow, you must be smarter than every power train engineer in the last 30 years then.

Have you replaced chain guides before? They are pain in the ass. I’ve done a couple hundred VW timing belts (I ran a diesel VW shop) and a handfull of VR6 chains. Every VR with 100k need all the guides replaces, same goes with most of the other VAG chain driven motors. With the belt system everything is easy to get to

I meant to say it will outlast the chain system. With a belt you have a tensioner and a idler, that’s about it. No guides to fail, break or get stuck in inaccessible positions.

You know what also uses NASA technology? The plastics in your sex toys and your ultra cheap Ikea couch fabric and cushions. It’s nothing but spin words. Treat us like we’re smarter than that please.

Since when is a timing belt new technology? VW has been using them since 1975. That’s 40 years!
