Yawn. No one is going to say “Look at that guy in that Miata.” The Alfa is an image car. It’s also technically superior in pretty much every way.

This shit is idiotic.

You’re a fool if you pay sticker for a SFE. Mine was 14,500, there are cars out there right now for 13,000 brand new on the lot.
You can find a SFE for 13k if you’re not picky about trim or color. So roughly double.
I love the shit out of my SFE. I’m averaging 43-46 on hour long trips at 70-75 and 34+ on hellish 80+ mph runs home after work for a dozen miles on the highway.
Have you read the State of Michigan report on 85% percentile speed limits?
That’s a clean one!
How does that help show Honda interest?
I’ve never got a good answer why they could not use the 1 liter EB even in NA form. Maybe Ford wants way too much money for them?
Just $6,000 more dollars from each and every one of you and we can do it!
And yet deaths per passenger mile are decreasing. If everyone drove in a more prudent manner they would decrease further I’m sure but that’s not going to happen unless their is a major culture shift. This and similar technology is much easier, and probably less expensive, than reeducating a nation.

Find me data that supports your claims, you’re working against a major body of established research from the NTSB. Do you honestly think they are talking out their asses just to make noise?
Unless you bought them new you’re not helping.
This is a flawed argument. Are you telling me people driver more carelessly because they have stability control? What about ABS? How about airbags and seat belts?
Why even have any safety equipment then via your logic?
I’m in metro Detroit, it’s going gangbusters right now. I moved back from Grand Rapids and had 3 serious engineering job offers in 2 weeks this last winter. IT is in a similar position.
In what realm are the automatics more reliable than a dozen gears?
I came out with 40k in debt and paid it off in less than 5 years. My education is engineering and my jobs have provided health benefits so I was able to pay them off very quickly. I worked very hard to keep my costs low.
My point was that young adults need to make informed decisions (hopefully with some experienced help) in determining their field of study, their total loan investment and their expected return on investment.
120k for an engineering degree with an expected salary of 75k is year is a whole lot different than 120k in…
There have been 300+ FWD Volkswagens on the street for over a decade. 300+ hp in FWD is not a big deal. It’s a handful but no way unstreetable.
