I'm not destroying or altering the tag in anyway. You can cut out and swap VIN plates as you please so long as you don't damage or separate the plate from the bit of metal it's riveted to. Totally wrecked classics like old Jags and Astons have been sold for huge sums simple for their VIN tags. Those original tag go in

Cut out around VIN plate, weld in VIN plate from '84 VW Golf and you're all set. Michigan will title almost anything, you don't even need a title in hand.

What's your insurance for the Tesla Compared to the van? What about the cost of service and wear parts like tires, brakes, suspension?

With the 2016 just around the corner why would you buy this unless it was suuuper cheap?

It's too expensive, you can get the sweet vertical fog lights unless it's top trim, it's still a GM, the interior feels like it.

Enjoy your $12k brake job.

Brakes suck, handling in stock form is meh, the tires are garbage and it has torque steer for days. It's a cool car but it needs to be significantly cheaper or get a serious upgrade in components.

That said if you can find one that has been sitting in the middle of winter you can find a real deal.

Fiesta EcoBoost 1 Liter. Great power, economy and all at a great price. It's super cheap (under $600) to make it handle like an ST.

This is a lie. You're not factoring in insurance, maintenance and repair costs.

Is that what happened in the Lambo? The Tesla just hit a brick wall.

You can't trust a tuner dyno with revs that low, there are way to many variables, plus he says the cars have modifications, that invalidates everything.

If they are in specification why would you replace them?

It's a turbo with more torque lower down than the larger engine. You don't often need raw HP you need accessible torque. It's not for rock crawling obviously.

The crimp on the stainless lines are prone to failure, they don't have any appreciable elasticity. OE rubber hoses are constructed as one vulcanized section, that's a much safer design.

Just like drilled and to a lesser extent slotted rotors are for show with negligible performance gains. That's a whole different soap

Press cars are all inspected after they come back. Why would you send a turd out to someone who's opinion will be read by thousands?

Upgraded brake lines are a myth, look at what the factory GT3 cars run. They run stock lines for a damn good reason.

If your lines are old and sad replace them with new OE lines, you'll get a huge improvement.

Put real pads on it and things will be much better. Chrysler cares way too much about noise and dust than they do about brake feel.

Is there fender space for wider wheels?

Does the SCAT pack have different power/traction control modes?

How much more does this weight than a 392? Would an even lower power/invasive traction control setting be warranted using something like a manettino switch?
