The solar input is not there yet. Unless the wings are in orbit closer to the Sun, like Mercury, with 100% efficiency it would take about 100 daylight hours to recharge the batteries. Of course that would require the top of the wings to be pointed at the Sun all the time, which wouldn’t fly (arrh, arrh)
