They tried something like this with Wacken, where you could only buy Tickets through Metaltix and they registered your ticket to your name by printing it on the ticket.
Of all places they got in a legal fight with Ebay sellers, because ticket sales were impossible there afterwards. And those guys won, because Wacken

I don’t believe 5th gear crash tests anymore since that Volvo crash with the Renault. They did everything they could to create a worst case scenario for the Volvo, there were also rumours that the engine block (which is an integral part of the crash stategy with its mounts) had been removed.
I’ve seen quite a few

The original Smart car crash physics were modeled after a Ping-Pong or pool ball. I kid you not, the car was basically supposed to ricochet off the car it hits, using the other cars crumple zone in the process to slow down.
When you use multiple Smart to create an accident, you are basically playing snooker :D

There are people in Germany who are already on their fourth engine.
Ford seems to be swapping a lot of these out quietly, trying to hide the problem.
Just to put it into perspective, Ford changed the old Fivebanger from Volvo by first omitting the hydraulic tappets for classic ones, then even removing the testing holes

Now playing

How can you play that map without installing the High-Res S3TC texture pack from the second CD?
I know, Epic got bummed when they went to the pain of creating these highly compressed high-res textures and then S3 killed the feature of supporting this kind of texture compression off (by killing off their Savage3D line

The car has the big engine option, that anybody can tick off on the order form iirc. Apart from that, nothing else. The 0-249-0 run was done before delivery to the customer, the run now was apparently after the customer had it in their hands. So yup, street legal, normal production car.
The suspension is of course

Although I think your choice of words is a bit rude, I absolutely agree with the last paragraph.
Germany is probably the only country in the world where most people cringe if you take “showing respect” when the national anthem is played too seriously. We have had more than 60 years of training not to be proud ever

I read up on one of the press articles from when a new Esprit came out (I think it was a turbocharged version), and they did a long distance test with it - from the UK to southern france and back. They praised it (and they really meant that) because it took them almost 1000km of driving before the first instrument

Sorry, but I know a few photographers myself who make a living out of their pictures. Yes, a lot of times the client would like them edited, p.ex. wedding photos which can only be taken on a specific day and may be subject to less than optimal conditions.

for which you need to own 3 separate systems. And you are not getting to keep any of them is plus expires if I’m not mistaken.
Thank you, will stick to XBL. I get fewer games, but can keep half of them without a subscription and they will all run on one machine.

I am still pissed at sony for not allowing BC, I own a lot

Actually, they do stuff like this already. Some people cannot order stuff online from certain retailers, because they live in a city block where some people didn’t pay their bills, therfore either their payment options are limited or they do get a “we don’t ship to this address” when trying to checkout.
When you pay

no, it is not worth the money by a long shot.
But fully assembled printers tend to be much more costly.
Look at the new Prusa MK3 (that I would take over this plasticky box any day): 999€ assembled, 699€ as a kit (iirc.
That is the extra you pay for a pre-built, tested machine with a warranty to match.
The Prusa has so

I noticed that the coolant you drained was green, yet you seem to have added yellow el-cheapo all-purpose antifreeze.

The original coolant of many japanese cars and motorbikes from that time period was green, to denote its special properties. The engines, and the gaskets especially, only like silica-free coolant.
Just

doesn’t matter if the picture/scene was taken at a party, there have to be more than a certain number of people in the picture. Sweeping your camera through the room is ok, having the focus on your own face while walking through the room is ok too, focusing on a small group or a single person and filming them while

They should try that in Germany... they would get sued every five minutes.
Film someone here without their consent, and if they are not part of a group of, say, five or more persons, and are clearly identifiable, they have a legal right to tell you to remove the content featuring them.
If you stream live, boy, you’re in

Living in a social environment means though that you also pay stuff that you inherently don’t need with your tax money.
I don’t need all the roads that are maintained from my money.
I don’t go to school anymore, why pay teachers from my money?
I never had a fire at my house, why should I fund a fire department?
I never

a 911 engine alone would cost that kind of money here in Germany. I had a chance to buy a 996 with a dead engine (the even bigger problem - cylinder bank failure, resulting in a mixture of 15 litres of oil and coolant - repairs start at 8000€ if done properly)

RunFlats suck. uncomfortable as hell, heavy, bad for fuel economy etc..
That said, never had a flat in 19 years of driving.
And I wouldn’t be caught dead putting a spare in a Miata I stripped of all unneccesary weight.

Btw, those tire saver spray cans can seriously ruin any alloy wheel they are used on, stay away from

Hm, the head shaking part usually only happens here with Macbooks. Have a few surface devices in the inventory, there was a problem with the first surface books not wanting to release the display, but apparently they fixed that via firmware updates.

Macbooks on the other hand, oh boy. How many we already went through

Did you add VAT on your prices?
The taiwanese price for the bundle probably includes VAT, as it is included almost everywhere in the world - except for the US.

How do you even know how much to pay when you are nearing the checkout at the local supermarket? Here in Germany we know how much cash we have going into the
