Ever thought about an XR2i 16V? 1800cc, 130hp, 950kg (heavier than the normal Fiesta due to more insulation and added stability in the chassis). 0-100km/h in 8secs flat, 200km/h top speed limited by the rev limiter.
I loved to fly in tandem with Porsche 924 in mine :D
though they retained the 40litre fuel tank, so it

But you won’t get that handling. You do not really notice the FWD that much in this car, apart from the torque steer (which is... quite noticeable).
This thing is a beast.
And MUCH better than the new RS, more tune-able (500hp on that engine block while retaining its status as a daily driver is possible without changing

oooooooh, that’s a very very nice one!

That’s what I assumed, since the 2.0 was a bit weak on torque in the ST - less than 200nm with 7000rpm redline didn’t sound that good. The RS is another beast altogether :)
Handling was really great though as you said :)

That Focus was available as an RS version (215hp, insane insurance premiums similar to an Escort Cosworth), and that is what you should get. Even then, the second generation ST with its Volvo engine is a much, much better overall car.

I mean, come on, the Focus ST this was probably based on has 173hp when it is bone

I honestly wish Destiny had ZERO PvP.
PvE only, with more content - that would really be something. A similar amount of missions to Borderlands 2, that would be great.

WTF? Were the US Escorts different from european ones? I got to know Escorts as cars that would go and continue to drive no matter how hard they were abused. Real workhorses, not very thirsty for their time, albeit a bit rust-prone like every Ford of that era.
I had a chance to buy an Escort Cosworth, though that is no

Here’s a good video detailing the basic procedure. Not very hard.

Nope, that was actually fairly easy. A few screws, the top canopy had two metal clips which don’t break, and then you had to master the technique of flipping it just the right way to get it through the steering wheel. But don’t forget to disconnect the battery, the immobilizer is iirc inside the instrument cluster,

Replacement displays can be had from Hong Kong for less than 50$ - the soldering is not THAT easy, but can be done as a DIY job.
Did it on two Audi S3-units of the same era, no problem.
That said, that engine can crank out quite a bit more than the standard 220bhp. A lot of stuff from VAG engines of that time is like

Coming from a country where beer basically starts at 4% alcohol minimum, and strong beers go up to 12% or more I get what you are saying.
When I buy Cider, I buy the Päron Cider (pear cider) from Ikea because it is the closest thing I can get to the cider I am used from visiting my relatives in Sweden. And that stuff

wrooong. This is the Opel Speedster, which was built alongside the Lotus Elise. Although they were built side by side, they do not share as many parts as people think.
You really want the Vauxhall VX220 version though, with that nice turbo engine.

For that money, you should be able to get a nice used GT86/BRZ with a dealer warranty (at least half a year and possibly an extension of that) here in Germany.
Like this one:

The original Bugatti Veyron was made so that all of its major parts should supposedly last more than 10 years before wearing out (especially the gearbox guys freaked out at this when they saw the torque numbers).
They set out to build a car that would be “unsurprising” to the driver and be fast and luxurious at the

Not quite correct, the MX bundle is 50$ - but imho still worth it. I think RPG Maker MX was discounted down to around 30$ before, but then again, with all the extra stuff thrown in, I’d still say this is worth it.
Now if I only had the time to pixel some unique gfx... :D

Ah, but people in the cities often can’t charge their cars where they live, because there are no chargers in the streets (and kids are randomly unplugging cars where there are some), and no chargers in the multi-car garages below town houses. Also, there is no electical infrastructure to support putting chargers in

It feels strange for me as a petrolhead, but the Model3 is the first electric car I am genuinely excited about and that I would consider buying.
It will take years before it is available here in Germany, but still - that would be the first car I would be willing to buy new and live with the loss in value. A huge jump

Pfft, try a Volvo 850R. Even with the automatic transmission, its 250hp are enough to eat the front tires every 20.000km - or much faster if you have a heavy foot. My old 850 T5 hat “a few things done” and I got wheelspin in third gear if I planted my foot to the floor :D
Only difference: FWD - the front tires are

Over here you can get a perfectly fine working (though worn looking, ripped seats etc) Volvo 850 for 500€ including Tax.

yes, I see several cars break down on my way to work every morning. Most times though due to something electical or coolant related faults (you never know when the water pump goes if it wasn’t replaced with the timing belt on a regular interval).
So no, TUV inspections won’t keep cars from breaking down, but at least
