Me too. I’s like to see an article on him.

Flying Wing! The most retro-futuristic of planforms!

Starred for the reference to the old G4 Cube. :3

I like this set of three. They’re very Bilal. Puts me back to discovering Heavy Metal Magazine in the late ‘70s.

Does this even lightbox?

Two of my favorite retros! ‘80s New Wave and ‘50s Retro Space!

BTW, what is the state of Retro SF since Tomorrowland underperfromed at the boxoffice?

Is her hat a fedora or something else?

Me! (Okay, I’m bored and ornery....) :3

Least favorites: Seth McFarlane and Berke Breathed. A couple of over-rated epigones that the herd likes because the herd likes.

I’m nostalgic for ‘80s Small Press Comics. I did Flexia Bast and Captain Saucer. Although the ‘80s weren’t all that. And Small Press rarely got beyond enthusiastic amateurism. So you have an era and a genre that never lived up to their potentials. Then the Indie Glut ruined even that....

Awesome Steampunk!

I’m upgrading the XR4Ti engine in the porthole Pinto to SVOness. Then I’m going to get back to drawing on some of my projects: Studebaker Carburetor, InterStellar OverDrive, The Inventer & Igor, Sci Fi Guy!

So doof has gone from a bad connotation to a good one?

I like the named by a six year old groove to Blibdoolpoolp. Also that it has the appearance of an imaginary friend or imaginary monster made up by somebody of the same age.

:3

I once did an ornery parody of the ‘85 Dune movie, where the Harkonnen surrogates were Industrial Rock/Dieselpunk party animal good guys and the Freemen surrogates were mean PC hippie bad guys (the Paul surrogate as a brown-nosed echo Boomer pandering to the graying ponytail generation) trying to ruin their fun. Oh
