I guess what I'm talking about more than anything is the Computers and not the mobile devices. Over the years as component prices came down PC's have followed and kept on lowering their prices translating the savings on to the consumer. Apple has never really done that. At one point an apple cost close to the same

I did the switch. Not for any reason really except I wanted a change. Android is nice to look at. If you want a great "ecosystem" as you call it then the best Android choice is the Samsung Galaxy Nexus. This phone was actually designed in joint by Samsung and Google. It is the only Android phone on the market

See the thing is is I am not a fanboy. I just refuse to buy overpriced hardware. My PC works just fine for me. I think the fact that you are getting so upset by this and starting to actually throw juvenile insults says you are actually a bigger "Fanboy" than you accuse me of. Thank you for not contributing

Didn't say it wasn't a corporation that has earnings as it's number one intrest. Every company out there is in place to make money. That's how the world works. Its just Apple seems to be using its popularity to totally rape their fans wallets. Now of course it is also the fault of all of the people that are PAYING

I totally agree. There isn't one Apple product in my house because of just that. Apple has basically done what the monopoly laws try to stop. They have raised their prices to many times over the years. They claim its because their product is just better than the rest but the reality is that its because too many

I do think Apple have very good products. I just don't agree with selling them at such a high price.

I have just one question. Did you watch the video?

I have used the Beta for a couple of months now and I think that once its released and all of the apps go online for it, the interface will be a nice clean simple way to use your PC. I was skeptical at first but after using it i am looking forward to the new interface.

iOS is an antique and slowly being replaced by Android and WP phones. Apple needs to do something soon

I think its about time apple started to get with the rest of the smartphone world and put a bigger screen in the phone. My buddies 4S next to my LG looks so out of date even for a new phone because of the smaller screen. I don't know why it has taken this long.

I hope the new ones are less flaky than previous models. I have owned 2 different Nokia models in the last 3 years a Lumina 700 and and older entry level c7. both of them had this annoying habit of always switching to emergency calls only mode. The only way out was to reboot the phone.

Photo Technology seems to always be advancing to the point of making some facet of the industry obsolete. dSLR's and camera phones have caused 90% of the photo stores to fall like dominoes in the last 5 or more years. Not to mention to be a professional Photographer a person needs a special niche or perspective for

Looks like IKEA.

Most people wont pay the extra cash for a 3G/4G/LTE tablet because they have a phone already. I can connect to my tablet with WiFi using my phone as a portable hotspot. No dongle and the phone can stay in my pocket. Problem solved.

I think it has to do with the fact that they are trying to build a great operating system to compete on the market. With the demand for new Tablets they can't spend the time just working on one and waiting until its perfect. They have to release quickly and update to stay in the game.

I agree :)

Which leads me to wonder why Pixar, a company owned by the late Steve Jobs, seems to still use Intel based machines running Linux for all of its rendering instead of Mac servers. LucasFilm uses Macs for video and sound editing but uses PC's for most of its 3D rendering work. Its because the PC is STILL cheaper to

Exactly I just bought a PC, 3.5GHz Intel Core i7, 16GB DDR3 Ram, 1TB HD, 3 DVD Drives ( one is BluRay ), ATI HD6770 1GB video, 23in Asus IPS LCD monitor. All of that only cost me 1300 Canadian and the monitor was $350.

Your obviously not a person that like automobile nostalgia. I have a friend that has a collection of gas pumps in his "man cave" from the earlier ones with the glass canisters to ones from the 80's from stations that have long gone out of business. :)

Well Sony has always been priced at the top end of the market anyway. I currently have a Sony Bravia and everyone that comes over for movie night seems to agree is has a better picture than the TV's they own. Some Samsung and LG. I don't mind paying for quality but there is a point where the arrogance of a company
