And you know this because....?

You're going to get flamed for this, mostly because of your wording, but I think it's an important point that people don't acknowledge because fat shaming is so dominant in our culture that the need to confront it overweighs the discussion of the ramifications of an obese nation.

The biggest reason why most people aren't behind changing the name is because they're not seeing the outrage by many Native Americans.

How many do you need? What percentage of Native Americans have to say it before you are satisfied that they are feeling properly disparaged for no good reason?

Ok. Then I'll just laugh when you get knocked over by one. I mean, I don't think a lot of things should exist (student loans for example... fuck those! ) but they do and that's life.

It's pretty rare that you get an ending to a ball game that gives both fanbases what they love the most. St. Louis fans got to see their team win because the other team did something the wrong way and Red Sox fans get something to bitch about.

Zach Randolph can barely jump and should dribble as little as possible but puts up huge numbers. there is your man

I don't care who you are or what team you root for, if someone rips a ball out of my hands he's getting punched in the fucking face.

Out founders were so worried about the tyranny of the majority. I think they should have worried a bit more about the tyranny of a fringe minority.

To get back to your original point, the poster in that threat was not claiming that disliking rap music was an indication of being racist, but that there was a high correlation between people who made a point of, when talking about themselves, stating that they like "all music, except rap" and those that held racist

I think the point was saying "I like ***anything*** but rap" *can* be a coded way of saying you dislike black people or black culture.

It's like saying you'll date anyone one but a black person. Really? Have you met all of the black people?

It's not about the music it's about the subtext.

I say this as a black chick

Stop. It was not said if you don't like rap music you're racist, just if you go out of your way to talk about how much you hate it. Maybe it's racist, maybe it isn't, but I generally do give the side eye to people who talk about how much they hate an entire genre of music that belongs to a group of a different

The absence of harissa throws everything he has written about food in doubt.

Presence of mayonnaise and ketchup in the top five here/absence of harissa and Greek yogurt is on par with endorsing peanut butter-and-American cheese sandwiches.

How about Reilly grows a pair and instead of using "Native American" in his article he used the non-offensive term "Redskin." Because ya know its not offensive.

I met a guy once, a singer in an indie band (yes), who claimed to have eaten a ghost pepper like it was nothing. This greatly upset a friend of mine, who thereafter referred to him as the "pepper liar." Anyway, I just thought you all should know that. Cool.

if you're going that route, go with baba ganoush. way better flavor IMO. eggplants > chick peas.

A pseudo high culture orientation. Believe me, they are as meek as mice. If you gave them 'Sirens of Titan' to read instead of 'Slaughterhouse Five' - they would never allow a filthy tramp like Kurt Vonnegut into their segments.

Seriously, the Eagles are the worst. How can people like them? I don't get it at all.
