To get back to your original point, the poster in that threat was not claiming that disliking rap music was an indication of being racist, but that there was a high correlation between people who made a point of, when talking about themselves, stating that they like "all music, except rap" and those that held racist…

I think the point was saying "I like ***anything*** but rap" *can* be a coded way of saying you dislike black people or black culture.

It's like saying you'll date anyone one but a black person. Really? Have you met all of the black people?
