I'm kind of shocked that Deadspin wasn't covering this from the get-go. Sure, not as funny as Nacho falling on his ass and eating a ball, or Big Ben spawning but really - unless I'm mistaken, this is the first fucking article about it I've seen. Not all of us are sitting around waiting for dong pictures or drunken

But she was (trying to test my memory here) tied with Kelly as his most-casted leading lady. Do you think he dropped her because her confidence? If you watch the AFI Salute, she's the person he holds grabs on to at the end - quite emphatically.

+1

But you know, I don't think he did that with Bergman. At least, not in the same way as he did Kelly, Novak, etc.

Really? Hmmm why? Have I lost my role as wingwoman?

Just as long as you are cool with the your wingwoman being Larry David inside of Christina Hendricks. And yes, I actually have called people "sample abusers" in person :)

You are my kind of guy. :)

smiles... so I'll buy the shots while you check out the girls I'm making fun of? That sounds good.

I agree and I don't mean do disparage it but there was something.... I think the way he.... I'm going to sound like a shit no matter how I try to frame this... Alma gave him something powerfully creative, and he seemed to be in search of something more - or less.

*snort*

Hmmmm. Hitch seems to be so detached from everyone, one of the things I've always liked about him.

Yup... I am sure he is under the care of a MD but that can't take into account future effects... and MM is just.. skin on bones... It's awful and not worth any movie role.

I will check it out - I am a Hitch enthusiast. I still think his most poignant moment was at the AFI salute, when he grabbed onto Ingrid at the end.

These entries are fiction. Consistency is the least of their issues.

Who cleared this crap as post-worthy? Just end this pathetic series already.

Nice.

and and and... smile :)

Hmmm. Spoto has a good reputation as a biographer - who contradicted him?

+39 steps

Actually, if you read Donald Spoto's biography, Hitch's obsession with Hedren was borderline psychotic - down to the fact he threw real birds at her during the filming of "The Birds" after assuring her nothing live would be used during filming.
