The Soul of Baseball is a must for any baseball fan's collection but this... Ugh. I still don't understand the rush to print, unless Posnanski just wanted to be rid of it already. I wish he had just shelved the project entirely, because it's obvious Posnanski had become far too emotionally attached to his subject to

Hiring Stephen Glass as the website designer was probably an unwise decision.

I'm guessing that's a good call:

Does not surprise me at all. I noticed lots of young guys wearing black Nats caps two-three years ago, when Washington wasn't exactly a bandwagon team like they are this year (deservedly so, though, I would add). A couple of innocently-posed inquiries confirmed the wearers were not donning the caps in support of the

And Nationals hats (in black) are very popular in parts of the PacNW as gang identification.

+1 spot on. We're back to the days of twenty-five guys, twenty-five cabs.

Wow.

Enduring.

RIP Johnny. You'll be missed.

That's wonderful +1.

Nicely done, NBC. The atrophy in all four limbs prevented me from switching channels and/or fleeing the room before the debut of "Animal Practice."

This was, I can't believe it, a few years ago. Probably three when I stopped listening regularly, around the same time "Basketball" was released. It's a shame, he can be genuinely funny and insightful, but the pile-on (footnotes, so you never forget how many clever asides he can come up with, celebrity

Awesome, thank you.
