“To her,” he said, referring to Sanders’ girlfriend. “But to him, no. Because he was doing something illegal.”
no, you just tried to mitigate it by saying the guy on the motorcycle was equally bad and had it coming. words mean things, and your words mean you’re a horrible person.
Plenty of people in my previous comments state that clearly.
According to Mr. Crumb, and a disturbing number of commenters, yes you can...
To anyone saying the bike deserved it because they were breaking the law... if I see somebody with a tail light out, does that mean I can run them off the road because of it?
Yeah I was thinking the same thing, the State gets it say in court, then it is up to the Motorcycle guy to file a civil suit later on. The civil case would be more interesting to watch.
I smell a civil suit...
Even though he was breaking the law, “getting sideswiped by an asshole” is not the expected result of crossing the double yellow. They might argue it reduces the driver’s fault somewhat.
Yeah, I got sick of reading them...
Prices of shit like this guy are why I really don’t like riding on the street. I own a 2011 Hypermotard, I’ve had it since April of 2014, I’ve put maybe 3k miles on it because I just don’t feel safe on the street. I honestly think it’s safer for me to go back to racing or at least track days to get my two wheeled fix.
Fuck this guy, and fuck all of those assholes in the comments of the previous article who were taking this guy’s side. Especially “jalop1991” and “Fuel_of_Satan” who genuinely seem to thing passing Ina no-passing zone is just as bad as actively trying to harm others.
“To her,” he said, referring to Sanders’ girlfriend. “But to him, no. Because he was doing something illegal.” -Those words exactly are what makes my blood boil. I hope the driver gets many years in prison for his actions. I wonder what those idiots supporting the driver’s actions feel like now that the driver has…
We’ll see if a jury sides with Crum and his insect story, or Sanders and his injured girlfriend.
Already happened in the original article. Comments were full of idiots pointing fingers at the rider because “OMG THAT’S ILLEGAL.”
Nevermind that it was a perfectly safe pass on a straightaway with plenty of visibility, past a guy who was intentionally going well under the speed limit to antagonize them.
Those clowns are busy getting their talking points ready about “see! Told you the biker was a douchebags because he was ticketed by the cops and he was unlicensed so that makes the old man justified! He shouldn’t have been riding so its all his fault and got what was coming to him!”
Unrepentant about hitting the guy “because he was doing something illegal”. Does that sound like a reflexive action because of a bug or does it sound like vigilante justice to you?
But to him, no. Because he was doing something illegal.
Seems pretty reasonable.
