Just finished reading The Martian a few days ago, what a grate book. and the amount of Snarky smart-ass commentary throughout is gonna have me quoting it for months. as for other suggestions I'd checkout the Mars trilogy by Kim Stanley Robinson, if you haven't already. Some of the best Sci-Fi ever IMO.
