Bzzt. Wrong. I started playing around the time Brand came out, until around the time I got Dota2 invite, which took a while. Then dropped LoL like a sack of toasters and went to Dota2 and never looked back.

If league had an artstlye to begin with, you would have a valid point. Also, the int heroes do scale, and the items aren't broken by any means. I really dont see where you are pulling this from because I cant see up your ass.

I'll give you that. What Dota gave me is enough to care about the characters, but it's nothing extravagant. And LoL has no room to talk either.

40 isn't too bad I guess, when you compare it to games Persona 4 (which I'm on the verge of finishing soon.. I think) so.. yeah that's not so bad.

They do have a backstory though. And they have little interaction lines with other characters while they are on the battlefield, take the Kunnka and Tidehunter rivalry, or how it's heavily implied that Pugna was the wizard who kept Viper as a prisoner.

The heroes all have their own names, but yes they do use different names sometimes. So what? Is Magina being known as Anti-Mage really bother you? Should Night Stalker just go by Balanar all the time? Who cares..?

Confusing? I'm sorry, what is so hard about hitting 'play' and then 'find match'? It's not confusing. It's different from LoL so immediately it's "confusing and bad" and "hard to understand" because it's not the game you are used to playing.

See League has been around longer and Dota was in a weird closed beta state until a few months ago because they didn't want to blow up their servers. Dota is catching up fast. Once it gains ground it will blow league out of the water. Just takes time. LoL has the advantage because it was really the ARTS that came out…
