Gen 1 had plenty of awful designs too. They've always been there.

You're completely right. I'm sure he's a nice guy but he's playing a character in his videos in which he is clearly going for the Pewdiepie audience. That stuff is popular because the teenagers who watch lets plays do not know the difference between yelling and being random and humor.

That's literally their only joke in all of their ads. It's never funny but their fan base is mostly 13-15 year olds so I guess it works for them.
