I miss old Superman. If I wouldn’t have gotten a discount subscription to the Superman titles I would have stopped buying these issues a long time ago.
Ugh, even then it was CADET to captain. Did he even finish the academy?
Guardians had a solid reason for having the old music. The first ST reboot had baby Kirk listening to Sabotage in his stepdad’s car, and as much as I might like 300 year old music (think old folk songs, classical, and some old church music and chants) most people do not. this is a cheesy callback to that first scene.…

All photographs are processed to match our expectation and perception; the raw sensor data always has to be heavily modified to look like we experience in real life. The difficulty on Mars is nobody’s been there, so we don’t necessarily know what it would look like to us.
Humans have dreamt of of drilling to the center of the Earth for over a century, but the fact of the matter is, we…
Now imagine what we could do with it if we funneled all of it into the NIH, biosciences, and public health research. We might have become transcendent beings or some shit.
I was a young adult in the '60s; I was there. We stopped because it was never about exploring the moon; it was only ever about beating the Russians. At anything. They kept telling everyone that communism was better than capitalism, then doing amazing things like Sputnik and Gagarin's epic flight. The space race was…
