Only people that don't use 8.1 think it's a train wreck. It's actually pretty good, once you get to grips with it and as far as gaming goes, the reduced memory overhead of the OS compared to 7, is rather nice!

There is only one other explanation I can think of adding. When you actually do lose the battle (And you are still alive), you still have a chance for extraction. This in itself is a small victory to actually make it to the drop ship without getting killed and beyond that, not having the enemy team blow it up before…
