I was specifically talking the ability to grade the footage. Half the data for twice the pixels is not a good equation for retaining color info. Then again, neither is 8 bit, which is why I said if you're probably going to want an external recorder with 10 bit 444/422.

I've personally only used the GH4 with the 1080 settings internally because the data rate is so much higher. I think it depends a lot on the situation. When I came out of school (for video production) I didn't have a TON of experience apart from several internships/freelance gigs, but I did have creativity. My creative resume/reel got me in the door to a couple interviews and landed the job I still have.

Not mentioned in the discussion is the shrinking of the goalies pads this season. Separate knee pads are less protective than the top of the pad itself, which might have helped prevent this type of injury. I don't know how much shorter Price's pads got this year, but an inch or two of pad length might have helped…

Last year my boss went to NAB and the reps looked him in the eyes and swore the Production 4k Camera would ship in July (2013). Fast forward a year and they STILL aren't shipping in big quantities, and the ones that are ain't exactly problem free.

I just got Fiber this past weekend, but ya it should be much faster than that. My wired speeds have been ~250 down, ~900 up and my wireless speeds are slower (has to do with the gadgets I have, too) but still faster than 20-30. I'd call for a tech.

It's a wireless N router. If you want faster speeds, pick up a wireless AC router.
