Usually you can't unsubscribe by address but only by name. I have a longish foreign name and I see it's quite frequently misspelled on the crap that I get. You need to match this misspelling when filling out web forms to unsubscribe.

The best way to proceed would be if passwords were different every time one was needed. This is essentially what two step verification is.
