My first thought is speculative: I'd be willing to bet that PMDD often goes undiagnosed in women, and that the percentage of women affected is much higher than the 1% reported by the DSM. It's worth a hard look at their statistics. The other thought is that the natural supplement L-tryptophan has shown promising
