But the article wasn't really about the best adaptations which is evident since Akira and Nolan's Batman where in it. Plus I don't believe Hellboy wouldn't be so low in the top 10 nor an x-men movie in the top 10. But as a movie it held my attention pretty well. Less so than X-2 or Spiderman 2 (sadly).

No I never did read the original I just enjpyed the movie. I've been wanted to take a stab at it (HA, pun) but I'm actually in the middle of Hellraiser (and a couple of mangas). Maybe I'll just put them on hold and get a copy.
