For smaller bikes or 2-Strokes 215lbs seems fair, but this seems aimed squarely at the 450's and they are all generally bang on right in that 240lbs wet range.

This was a fun watch and right through my old backyard. I have done this route a couple times on (Gas) motorcycles and it was a really fun watch for me and made me miss CO a bit too. Immediately called up my old riding buddies to start planning a CO Dual sport trip for next summer. Been seriously considering a Zero

I’ve had a couple X5 loaners when my wife had previous BWMs. I did like the smaller tailgate/larger hatch for loading groceries and other things. Really enjoyed it for day to day use. Between the size and corrugated hard plastic it doesn’t make a terribly comfy place to sit for any period of time though. I love the

Agreed. Big swinging door is the worst answer. Hated this on my FJ Cruiser as well. Love the split gate on our LX.

I just posted the same and then saw your comment. Split gate is the most superior rear cargo door. I’ll probably add an LX600 to the stable even though they killed the split gate but damn did that sting, that was really the ONE feature I was hoping they didn’t ditch. The current LX570 will likely live on as the

This is cool but I still prefer a regular old split gate a’la Land Cruiser. Can open the top half to load things in if someone does decide to park right up on my bumper and the bottom tailgate half acts as a bench or table and also lays down completely flat with the cargo floor (With the top half opened or closed) to

There was a pontiac dealership I used to walk by all the time that always parked a matching Sunfire and TransAm side by side on a pedestal right up front. I am not sure what they were trying to evoke but putting these side by side really made me appreciate just how fugly both cars were and gave me a good chuckle. Have

Look at the door sill and passenger side mirror. I believe the red interior is on a silver car.

I can’t say this inspires any omg I must own lust in me... even though all the right ingredients are there. But I do really really want to drive one on the track. Maybe that will change my buying attitude as well.

Just like the previous gen, no getting a bumper “over” it. You’ll be hacking everything below the headlights off with a Sawzall... which should be a massive aesthetic improvement.

Honestly I am amazed that Tesla, Rivian, Lucid, etc are actually marching towards shipping a product at all. I work in telecommunications and the disruption to existing products that had abundant inventory and multiple supply chains just a year ago is mind blowing. This is equipment vendors were incentivizing to the

Judging by the number of trucks modified to the point where they are no longer very useful for “truck things” (Slammed to the ground, lifted 2ft with 30 inch rims and 30 profile street tires, lifted 2ft in front and slammed in the back, etc.) that I see on a daily basis, I think there is a fair sized market for

I am very sad they ditch the split gate. I was hoping to upgrade our current LX but there is no way in hell I am giving up a tailgate. I use it all the damn time and its amazing. It’s a door that turns into a bench AND shelter for said bench. Lift gate is lame and I am sad now.

These threads might be of use to you David:

I am having mixed feelings about this trucks identity. My 2008 Trail Teams FJ Cruiser was hands down one of my favorite vehicles ever. Everything inside was super chunky and super simple. But that ethos was consistent throughout.

Now playing

Had this happen as well. Clogged sunroof drain, water eventually pools up and runs down the A-Pillar right into that fuse panel. You may have to pry the sunroof open to get to the drain holes and unclog. If you are able to access them, its a super easy job to clear them out.

Both. It’s not the proper tool for the job but in the right hands it could get it done. Just like a table saw is the right tool for making a nice straight cut. Could an experienced carpenter make a pretty damn straight cut with a jigsaw? Sure. The same tool in the hands of a novice would produce much different

To answer your question, no a Bronco Sport in any trim is not an appropriate vehicle for this trail. Could and experienced driver navigate one down this trail? Sure. And the switchbacks where all these articles take place are past the challenging obstacles (Assuming you aren’t driving the trail backwards), a small

As others have said, nice soft springs for offroad ride comfort and flex don’t make for great payload figures. That said Toyota in general seems to be pretty conservative with its measurements. The LX570 is rated for 1,385lbs of payload... I may or may not have loaded well over 2,000lbs of rubber gym flooring in one
