“New Switch hardware coming” is a hell of a way to word “there is a slightly differently colored Switch dock and controllers to tie in with the game”.

Tell me you only read the headline and not the article without telling me you only read the headline and not the article.

Fortnite doesn’t have fighting game mechanics, what does this comment even mean lol

Game that came out one month ago made by an independent studio not as feature rich or as “good” as 5 year old game in different genre made by one of the biggest AAA companies in the world.

Pretty sure Fortnite doesn’t have in-depth melee combat, which is kind of the main draw of Rumbleverse compared to Fortnite.

Al joking aside, I don't like the look of Cult of the Lamb, though obviously unrelated to these.. er.. metrics!

I’m the weirdo that actually uses the News app, but I think it’s only good for one thing: sale announcements.

I agree with everything you've said here.  Absolutely.  A celebrity delivering a bad performance isn't a reason not to hire celebrities for voice work.  It's a reason to do a better job with casting in general.

I mostly disagree with how this is framed. The only issue I see here is that actors need to take their work seriously. Plenty of professional voice actors have phoned in their performances and done a bad job, just as celebrity live action actors have done the same. They’ve also all done the opposite. Some of the best

Like acting in general, sometimes the name value is just that, but sometimes the name value is actually quite perfect for the role. Tom Hanks’ folksy charm is not just window dressing for Toy Story, it’s necessary that we have a built-in likeability “Oh hey Tom Hanks, I like him, what a swell guy!” factor for him at

Bioware hasn't made anything worth playing in nearly a decade.  I have zero confidence in their ability to finish a decent product.  Certainly going back to them could only be worse.

I don't really agree that playable and protagonist are interchangeable, which you seem to say they are with this article.  I don't think you're even technically correct.  I would argue that, TECHNICALLY, silent and/or interchangeable characters with no personality in a story light/story-free game really aren't

I wouldn’t write it off based on this one review. Every other one I’ve read has been pretty overwhelmingly positive. Kotaku has become notorious for writing negative, condescending, clickbait titles since the scandal a few years back and subsequent staff changes. I only come to scan headlines and see if I’ve missed

The game rating making it not inappropriate for a particular age isn’t the same as being created for and marketed towards children. I know I’m wasting my time attempting to entertain an actual conversation here as your argument wasn’t particularly sound and was mostly a veiled attempt to rile me up by indicating that

I think part of the issue is that people definitely don’t know how hard the work is and they’re often completely or mostly in the dark about what’s going on. Japan is very different with how they handle their celebrities and there’s just so little information about anyone or anything, so all most people really know is

Nope. Not only is that not what happened, but Nintendo has a ton of games that appeal to adults. Zelda, Metroid, Fire Emblem, Xenoblade, MUA 3 (Bayonetta as well, obviously) etc. Just including ones with adult themes and visual elements. Not to mention things like Mario, Mario Kart and all the other Mario sports stuff,

“The key there is under the shade”.

You know not everyone has access to cooling units or can't pay for the electricity it takes to run them...right?

The real question is who is sitting outside in 95 degree heat playing a Nintendo switch?
