I grew up on TNG, so I’ll never say no to more of this delightful show.

Yes, the title begins with “The Spider-Verse is ending”, but it continues with “long live the Spider-Verse”, which is a specific reference to the phrase “The king is dead; long live the king” which is meant to indicate that the monarchy isn’t ending despite the death of the king and that it will continue unbroken. And…
The article title indicates that the Spider-Verse is ending, but the body of the article does not seem to indicate the same thing.
Well, I'm completely against NFTs, but I'm surprised no one has talked about using them as a means to give unique IDs to digital purchases of video games so we could buy digital games, then trade, loan or sell them off. I suppose despite it being doable, it would hurt the wallets of the companies selling games…
Don’t mind me, I’m just rolling around in all this sweet, sweet money I get for negging on NFTs, paid by... paid by... um... you know... the anti-NFT lobby!
That’s because there isn’t anything they can be used for that isn’t already being done with simpler technology.
So, maybe it's obvious to those who played it, but why is she being embraced by a ghostly looking reindeerman in one of the screenshots? Is this a dream sequence or something?
Torrent has never gotten me killed. Honestly, this is a little confusing to me. Why would anyone have an issue with Torrent’s health? They game throws an infinite supply of raisins at you. “In the end, the real issue here is that DoorDash is messing with something that was working just fine before it got there.”
Aren’t there enough real, tangible issues in the world to worry about before you get far enough down the list to worry about people looking at women in video games? At least they gave her underpants? Or would you have been happier with a Barbie-like, genderless model? Or is the issue that you think people will noclip…
So, expressing desire is not a part of “sex positivity,” but making yourself feel and look more desirable is? This is confusing.
Like, yeah, it’s not technically illegal
I mean... I take it you don’t go on Archive of Our Own much? Every IP has people objectifying it, and imo creeping on an NPC in a video game is much healthier than creeping on RL people like... I dunno... Jared and Jensen.
Retroarch works but I found that standalone emulators run better.
The Steam store page shows a Linux version of RetroArch so I assume it works. I hope so. Soon(?) I will have my own to test!
Can you run RetroArch through SteamOS or do you have to install Windows?
The most mainstream games in the genre outside of Disgaea (FFT, XCOM, FE) all had permadeath, so I think it’s fair to go in to a new game in the genre with the assumption it’s on the table.
