I realize that when in an article that is effectively pitching the idea of pubstomps as self care I shouldn’t have expected much, but hey maybe think for a second about how much it sucks for the rest of the people in the game when someone is pubstomping. I realize that when the exalted mind of [checks notes]

making something largely dependent on random chance is bad game design.

I think the comment would have been better if it stuck with “even if you know it’s flawed” rather than adding in a second dig with “even when you know the company deceptively cut corners”. There’s no actual proof that they “deceptively” cut corners. They made a game. Just like every other company in the gaming

Same difference?  Have you ever even played Fallout?  They're not even the same genre.

Same difference...

Sometimes the heel isn't even half the thickness of a normal slice and it's always shorter and less wide.  It's a lot less bread and can make for a very awkward sandwich.

Likely because they're not actually done by someone's random mother.

It's not just beef.  It's meant to be a taco meat sauce.  It uses a fair amount of water and spices that cook down into a saucy consistency.  This is pretty common for tacos.  I do the same thing at home but I also add the refried beans directly into the meat.  It's always saucy.  And if I don't cook it down well

For me and my wife, it works perfectly fine. She plays only at home. She virtually never takes her Switch on the go, so her system is set as my non-primary and she plays on our eshop account where we buy all the games. I take my Switch on the go a fair bit. It’s set as my primary and I play all my games on my account

Joycon drift is real but it hasn’t been a big opponent for most people. Generally it happens, they get it fixed, it stops happening. I had drift in my left Joycon with my launch unit in September 2017. Got it back within a week. It started drifting again about 14 months later, outside the warranty. I bought a $6

This was a whole lot of words to say “My Switch has a defective battery”, because really that’s all it is. I’ve had mine since launch, played many hundreds of hours on it (all in portable) and always get 3-6 hours of battery, depending on the game. It hasn’t gotten even a little bit worse.

It’s a fantastic game, but it isn’t a Fire Emblem game. I mean, it’s not at all a Fire Emblem game. It plays like Persona 3. Almost exactly like it. It’s definitely a Shin Megami franchise game. The only thing is the game’s Mirages (which is just a new name for personas) are known Fire Emblem characters. But they

“it’s outdated, overblown, and irritating”

Saying it's "not really a Dragon Quest game" is like saying a balloon animal is "not really a ten story apartment building".

Here’s what confuses me though. I get it with the Doritos Locos Cool Ranch. First off, it sucks. Second if all, it’s the only item on the entire menu that uses the Cool Ranch shell. They already have trouble with regular taco shells getting stale easily and I can only imagine how many Cool Ranch shells go bad daily.

“By the time the game is finished, only one of these teenagers will be left. The other two will be dead.”

You brought a video game system into a home with four young children who broke an Xbox in just a few months. A system with one group game and two controllers for four small, destructive children... and you bought a puzzle game that’s a challenge for two adults to manage after the intro levels because of all of the

I completely agree. And I also think the color combos they pick are TERRIBLE. Purple and orange? When have those ever gone well together? Blue and neon yellow? Seems like the blue and purple would have gone much better together. Also, the beyond looking like a Fisher Price toy, the color mismatch causes a visual asymme

Well, now you can buy the game.  They announced at E3 there will indeed be online with friends.

I think the problem isn’t the game. I think it’s you. Now, hold on. I’m not here saying you suck or you’re bad or anything like that. It’s just, I’ve read a number of your reviews and you just don’t like a lot of the things many RPG gamers like. Your expectations are different. This isn’t bad, but I do think sometimes
