They're going to.  They just said they're going to offer more alternative appearance options particularly for the late game armor.  I think it's a better option than removing the other armors as it lets people decide what's right for them.

All the multiplayer is optional.  I don't even have PS Plus right now and you can just play offline.  And you can play online and has some of the social features and elements of the multiplayer without doing competitive stuff.  It's basically all opt-in/out content.

What do you expect? This is alongside tips such as “use useful characters”, “save money if you don’t want to waste it” and “gain EXP if you’re under leveled”!

While I don't disagree with you in principle, the list you gave doesn't help your case much.  It includes games that aren't RPGs and that people generally don't call RPG (like God of War and Assassin's Creed) and games that are OUTRAGEOUSLY and irrefutably more RPG than Cyberpunk (like Diablo, WoW, Final Fantasy).

Every game is limited in its appeal. There’s someone out there who will they suck at platformers or RPGs or racing games or shooters, etc. Or they just don’t like them. Either way, no genre or game fits all. What’s your point?
