Totally agree.  Even take it a step further and maybe say the first two felt like bad to mediocre GTA clones.  Then Saints Row the Third turned the series into something original, crazy, fun and interesting.

Of all the characters I expected to be added to the mobile gacha game Fire Emblem Heroes, the Gatekeeper from Fire Emblem: Three Houses was not the first person who came to mind.”

Not that I want to speak in defense of these companies, but now that you mention that.. Kickstarter and Early Access releases have taught me they many game developers will absolutely say "this isn't worth it, especially since I already have the money" and then the 2 million they got in crowdfunding disappears and no

There were a lot of crazy, questionable things in those tweets, but the craziest of all to me was that if he breached the contract in any way, he could have to pay back every dollar put into it, lose the game rights AND be forced to finance a non-specific, potentially endless amount to finish the game?

If they're anthropomorphic animals, yes.  That's what it means, isn't it?

Well, anthropomorphic animal characters, right? Anthropomorphic just means having human characteristics. Gundam are anthropomorphic robots, for instance.  And Veggie Tales are anthropomorphic vegetables.

$7500 is basically free games for life if you just buy games you want from the sales.

I’ve never played Vice City and I only ever did the very first tricycle mission in San Andreas (a friend was just showing me the game to see the graphics, basically). I played GTA 3 for a couple of hours or less, but it was on PC and barely ran for me (because my PC was a toaster) so I basically just ran around the

That's a pretty easy answer.  A horrible story and horrible controls will make the game bad and it won't be enjoyable to play.  Microtransactions can often easily be ignored.  And in the case of Pokemon Unite, which I've played a few hours of, didn't impact my enjoyment at all.  I'm not saying it's a great thing, but

It isn't a slide show for me on mobile.

“I know a lot of this is technically my fault!”

Hard for me to get pumped for a Tales game when they cut what is for me and my friends the best feature of the series, multiplayer.

The word snub means to spurn DISDAINFULLY. I’ve never heard of a game developer snubbing a specific console. They’re in it to make money. There are a ton of reasons a game wouldn’t come to a system, but it’s never going to be because the company just wants to thumb their nose at a particular one and deny themselves

No.  They're just talking nonsense!

All businesses are in it for the money. No consumer protection is ever done to protect the consumer. Ultimately, it always comes down to how they can increase sales. Saying they don’t care about the consumer is meaningless. When they run a big sale and give amazing discounts, they aren’t doing it for the consumer then

I think virtually anyone can figure that his father, referenced in the article, bought it for him or gave him the money to buy it.

Yeah, that's sort of the point of this whole article and the delay.  The devs had no idea the game would go from a relatively unknown title to something huge overnight.  But I guess that's the way of online games now.  You get the right people talking about it on social media and suddenly everyone's playing something

Seeing the estimated ship time move further out for later preorders shows that they are indeed constrained by supply (or manufacturing capabilities one way or another).  Also, Valve has gone on record indicating that even without things like this being insanely successful, it's worth it to them to open doors for this

To be fair, Netflix went quite a few years without ever cancelling anything.  At some point, they have to stop making shows that aren't profitable.

Considering the near impossibility it has been for many people to get next gen consoles since last fall and with those getting it wasting dozens and dozens of hours, month after month, trying to snipe orders.. this wasn't bad.  I ran into three or four different errors and had to refresh a number of times, but after
