If it wasn't larger then normal I get some in a heart beat. I have USB charge cords coming out my ears. It would be nice to use the USB portion and keep all the dongles in a safe spot as well as free up some plugs for other use.

You might not have any issues but that doesn't mean your pad doesn't have a problem. Most people who notice this issue are people who normally use a weak signal. At home I have zero issues. At work I have to use a router that's pretty far away. My iPad2 can use it just fine. My iPad3? Nope.

I feel like a I just read a story about two people who haven't grown up. My wife, kids and myself play games all the time. Each person has their own PC and we play matches without acting like babies.
