May I make a suggestion from years of experience: avoid inflatables at all costs. Spend the extra money for those unsinkable float things. If you must buy inflatables, shop at Five Below (if you have those stores around you). The same float that is $20-$25 at a pool store is $5 there.

Great at this price point. Good for the beach and for kids sports on a hot day. Also great of you are bringing a baby to the beach. I do agree with others, though - it creates a wall, which sucks if anyone is sitting behind you.
