There’s a novelty to being able to control things using your voice with Alexa. After a while that novelty wears off. It’s easier for me to just use my phone to control the temperature, rather than use Alexa. I will say, however, that using Alexa to control the temperature is a lot easier than controlling other

It’s a Nest without the good looks AND the “learning” aspect. I specifically sought this out because I did not want any of the learning issues that came along with the Nest. I haven’t been disappointed. The app works flawlessly. The fun of using Alexa to control it wears off quickly.

This will bomb. Regardless of how good of a movie it is, it will bomb.

I love my Grid-its, but prefer the hard shell case ones. They go one sale quite a bit.

Agree with you, but I have found that running them dry takes forever. I have a 10k watt generator i haven’t used in 2 years. I put star-tron in the gas and swap it out every 3 months. Seems to work OK.

Anyone wish that Io9 would do a Fargo recap each week?

Looks nice, but I’m sticking with my S7 Edge for now, which finally just was updated with Nougat. Hard decisions are coming though, with my daughter getting a phone at the end of the Summer. She is already apple’d up with an iPad and iPod Touch, and I feel like I’ll be be able to keep in better contact with her if I

For the money, I love my Roll 2. Got one for $50 on a one-day sale at Verizon Wireless. Pairs with my original Roll, which is great. And the bungee cord is the greatest idea ever.

I can vouch for this. Finally bought a snowblower this year and it acted like a heat shield all winter.

Try picking up a snowblower on clearance once the weather finally changes. Or, shop around in October/November. Lowes in particular usually puts some snowblowers on sale in early November. I picked one up for a song this year and it immediately put a protective shield over my Philly suburb town. They called for 8-12

I can wirelessly charge my Galaxy s7 through its case.

I have an S7 Edge and use wireless charging all of the time. The quick wireless charging works really well. The charging port on my last phone went bad after 2 years, so I look at it as one less thing to break down.

The Amazon Echo does not do this? Wow.

They are not re-branded Yetis. My understanding is that a Yeti employee left and started Rtic. They are involved in a patent infringement lawsuit right now. Yeti is also suing Walmart for patent infringement.

Curious as the quality of these and whether they are truly leak proof. I have a couple of the Yeti Hoppers and the quality is top notch. Also, they are completely leak proof. But I like this zipper design better.

MLB didn’t take long on the punishment. St. Louis has to give up 2 first round picks to Houston and pay Houston $2MM.

These will die out after a couple of years. Very frustrating, but this is a good price. I just recently replaced the three I had with Wemo switches.

Yes - LOVED key cars. I have nothing else to say but that. I had a yellow corvette with flames on the hood that I’ll never forget.

Another one: You can control Sonos through the Google Music App instead of the Sonos app.

So if I have a Dot connected to my Play 5, I can then group that room with others? Makes sense. I assume the Play 5 that is connected to the Dot always has to be the first of the group.
