Am I the only one having a hard time telling which screen shot is real and which is the video game?
Torrenting can't be stealing if paying for it isn't owning.
Obviously at least some others feel differently, but matchmaking that skews to either of those scenarios is going to make me put a game down. Getting stomped into the ground is obviously no fun and quite frankly I think doing the stomping is super boring.
I had a fancasting idea for Shadow that just popped into my head one sleepless night: Jaleel White. A part of me would just be tickled by the idea of the OG Sonic voicing Edgy The Hedgey. And I think the old cartoon watching thirtysomethings going to see this with their kids would appreciate the in-joke.
claiming it “perpetuates misinformation, one-sidedness, and an irresponsible conflation of the war in Israel/Gaza with xenophobia and misrepresentation of muslims, arabs, and brown people in video games.”
You’re perfectly entitled to like your boring game. By all means, have fun
No.
I’d argue the response is more “You are mistaken. You do not know what FUN is. We here at Bethesda know what FUN is. So you are wrong and your complaint is invalid.”
Ok Todd
Not only was going to the moon an incredible feat of science and engineering, it was also incredibly risky. Everything from takeoff(they strapped themselves to hundreds of thousands of gallons of kerosene and liquid oxygen), landing on the moon, taking off from the moon and rejoining with Columbia, and then reentry to…
“You can fly, you can shoot, you can mine, you can loot”!
I don’t think the response is even “Well we think it’s super fun.” so much as “Oh, you’re probably just playing it the wrong way.”
I’ve put in around 110 hours now, and would say that I’ve had fun. But yeah, overall it’s boring. The development appears to have been deeply unfocused with very little effort on creating a cohesive whole game.
“The astronauts weren’t bored when they went to the moon”
“I think Starfield is Subjective, but too many people claim its Boring, or it Sucks stating their opinion as fact.”
I’m not a streamer or influencer, and i found it boring not after playing all day for several weeks, but after less than 10 hours. And i’m not even a peripheral person to Bethesda games: I was a massive consumer of their stuff up to Oblivion.
Such an unbelievably bad look from them. Not that Bethesda has many good looks, but man. What on earth do they imagine is the value of responding to reviews saying “I dont think this game is fun” with “Well we think its super fun. Maybe the most fun, so, nyeh. -Bethesda”. Genuinely feels like Todd Howard’s massively…
Nah, it was actually great, and a majority of the criticism comes from people who can’t process stories they don’t immediately relate to.
People incapable of character growth hate character growth.
