@two wheels are enough: making tubes is difficult the conventional way. Something like this that winds and weaves will give better properties because there is no seam that causes a discontinuity in properties.

I have done the early upgrades before, and from experience learned to tough out the next 6 days and just get the release when it comes out. To many problems and upgrade issues after the final cut comes out. So I suggest wait for the final release... #ubuntu

@BraveGiant: I upgraded my parents computer from Tiger to SL. Only encountered one problem and that was the internet connection. I just created a new location and viola all fixed. No problems here straight from Tiger to SL, I say go for it!

I have Synergy running between my windows box and linux box through a wifi router! I love it, saves tons of desk room as well as time switching between setups! Its a great program!!!

Office 07 is not bad... Just takes a little bit of a learning curve before you are as fast in that as in 03. I think 07 is a much more pleasant office experience.

8.10 Also made ubuntu for laptops much easier to set up, dual screening them to work with their crappy video cards and just about doubled my battery life!
