I loved the Burnout series, but HATED Paradise. I know a lot of people like it, but I find the open-world model broken for racing games here. Every race ends up at one of 8 finish lines, so you're always hunting for races by driving back from sometimes remote locations. After you use up the close ones, you're just

I have no idea what's happening in these videos - I never even finished the Terran campaign of the original Starcraft - but I have to say it's freaky how much Scarlett looks like Morgan Saylor, the actress who plays Dana Brody, the whiny brat daughter on Homeland.

That the car is light isn't as important as the tires being so wide that the weight is distributed over a wider area.

I've got about 8 GFWL titles (e.g. Fallout 3, the Batman Arkhams, Bioshock 2, GTA IV, etc) and I've always appreciated that my cheevos count toward my gamerscore. I've never had a problem with it working for me either, knock wood.

While you're right about Basquiat - love Bowie as Warhol; "I don't like beer." LOL! - I'm surprised he didn't pull a Best Supporting Actor nom for his role as Peoples in the Samuel L. Jackson version of Shaft.

Oh, I still refer to Marky Mark as Marky Mark even though he has TWO Oscar nominations to his credit while actors like Richard Gere, Jeff Daniels, Alan Rickman, Jim Carrey*, Steve Martin**, Claire Danes, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Bruce Willis, Meg Ryan, Jeffrey Wright, Steve Buscemi and countless others have a collective

I never saw her on Talk Soup/The Soup. I remember Greg Kinnear (who went on to an Oscar nomination!), then that John "Skunk Boy" guy and then the next thing I see it's call The Soup and Joel McHale is hosting and, yes, he kills it.

I saw a couple of negative comments and was merely remarking that usually any criticism of anyone who falls outside of the Designated Oppressor Groups of:

tl;dr, but I suspect it can be summed up as, "She's not a real gamer girl. Also, I like my gamer girls pale and ginger, like Felicia Day, if you know what I mean." Got it.

It's odd how all the usual strictures against criticizing women and minorities go out the window for Aisha Tyler. Why is that? Because she's six feet tall and not some twerking bimbo in a rap video and the tubby nerdgin gamers are terrified of such an Amazonian Nubian princess even though she's on Archer? Yeesh. I'll

Yahtzee took an axe handle to it this week: POW! BIF!

How can we wave bye to Mass Effect 2 when it's still on the list?

I wouldn't say "loses the conversation" (Internet speak is dumb) as much as doesn't have a contemporary understanding of what makes graphics work nowadays. Texture resolution, lighting and soft-shadowing, tessellation and DOF effects all add realism to graphics more than mere poly counts.

Does anyone edit this stuff? AMAZON INSTANT VIDEO IS NOT AVAILABLE ON ANDROID!!!! The Google Play link says in the fine print: "Currently this app is only available for select Google TV devices." I guess whoever put this list together just saw it was in the Play store and added it to the list. Makes me wonder how

I'm surprised at how many of these I've never heard of or use, but I have to take issue with the endorsement of Dolphin browser. I used to use it until I noticed that occasionally it would lie in the background after I'd closed it, draining the battery substantially. Nothing like seeing a closed app drinking a quarter

I use Pocket Casts. I'd gotten it when it was an Amazon FAotD, but noticed they weren't updating it. Discovered that A'zon had rooked them for payment for those "free" sales, so they stopped updating it.

I'm actually buying stuff, but only a few things. So far:

Showing as $29.99 for me as well at 3:30 pm EST. Steam always has price hiccups like the time they had Sleeping Dogs and all the DLC for 91% off for about an hour.
