I'm sure if the Federal government was borrowing money from China in order to do this, you'd be in full support. Yeesh.
If you had the ripped 8- and 10-pack abs that the Spartans of 300 had, would you cover that up with clothes? HELL TO THE NO!!! If you worked in a corporate office, you'd were the same leather bikini-and-red cape ensemble. DENY IT!
They were out of ideas before Jobs assumed room temperature. Anyone not drunk on the Cupertino Kool-Aid recognizes that while Apple occasionally wheezes up a genuine innovation, they then go looooooooong stretches where all they do is refine and milk the idea.
Ever hear of Armand Assante? Armand isn't a super common name, but it's not like the Hammers are the only ones using it.
Hubba to the hubba!
I don't remember being this angry and stupid when I was a virgin, but then again that was a looooooooooooooong time ago.
I LOLed at the Half Life 3 release date item.
Would it be possible to stop using that same Man of Steel photo that we've been seeing since Jesus was a sophomore in high school? Seriously, it feels like this movie has been in production for the past two years and won't be out until next year, probably because it has. In the meantime, genre TV series will have put…
It's hilarious to see the iTards who used to Snoopy dance about the non-HD "Retina" display suddenly bleating, "Who cares? No one can see that high a rez anyways." However, if it was Almighty Apple rolling out giant screens with true HD rezes, you know for damn well that they'd be Snoopy dancing all over again.
There is no difference. "Optical" refers to the fact it doesn't have the old ball-turning-rollers mechanism. Whether it's driven my laser or LED or unicorn wishes is irrelevant.
Apple hasn't sued them for infringing on their patent covering the use of the lower-case I at the beginning of words?
When I saw this story on Facebook, I had 44 icons. After five minutes of consolidating and tossing ancient stuff, I've got 10. At my work, doing IT support, I've seen people with more documents on their Desktop than in their My Documents folder. (Only a slight exaggeration.) It's crazy.
They've also stopped claiming they were safe from viruses (i.e. something like, "You're safe by doing absolutely nothing") so one of three things is happening:
I wonder if he uses that voice when going through the drive-thru? He could then pull up and if they give him a look, he can look innocent and ask if they've heard how they sound on the squawk box?
#5 on the list should be "Limited 2D showings." I was planning on catching it yesterday and was shocked to see that my usual theater only had five showings the entire day and only ONE of those was the 2D version. Between my aversion to paying extra for 3D and the fact my girlfriend can't see 3D due to her eyes, there…
Shouldn't a n00b gaffe like this earn banishment from teh Intartoobz?
I mourn the inability of people to recognize irony anymore. Perhaps the government could put something in the water with the fluoride to help with the irony-deficiency epidemic.
The author probably only dates people shorter than 5'2" so that he looks more substantial. o_O
No Film School has been the BMCC Fan Site for quite awhile to the point that I'm wondering if it's an advertorial front. While the quality is apparent, what the price tag doesn't tell you is all the stuff you need to buy - and mounts ain't cheap - make it usable. And what's this non-removable battery nonsense? Who do…
