Some people, for the sake of their sanity or that of others, should not be forced to turn a computer on, much less attempt a jailbreak. And the benefit of this is you can patch your phone without worrying about the jailbreak lag or messing with adapter sims.

Much better than the "The Five Traits That Get You Promoted to PHB" article last week.

I wish I had remembered this when submitting the question.

Well, roll the idea of emergency rations in with the "eat what you store, store what you eat" mentioned earlier. If stuff needs to be rotated out, better to have it be something you or others would want to eat (give to camping friends, scouts, etc). I live in Hawaii, so if TSHTF, then we may be without services

Does the app need to take a nap after a large meal, like say, thanksgiving?

Any Luminosity deals of the day for LHers?

I'm curious why it says "• Compatible with Windows Mobile® phones" on the website. Is it meant to be inclusive or exclusive statement? I was hoping to pick up a iphone or something off the secondary market and use that, but I'm curious about that now.

@Alexander Riccio: Nope. "Store X removes tainted food". vs "Tainted food removed from Store X's shelves by FDA order".

@St3v3: Ponder for a minute the stores that sell Apple hardware, accessories and software. That software might not be sold now, but you can be pretty certain where a lot of them are going to go when they have problems.

Who would have thought my USB devices would be ethanol powered this quickly!

@Terry: "Waiting for your out of stock (replacement or UPGRADE! ^_^) parts to be delivered" or "it's under warranty still so may as well use it".

@timgray: Come on now. OSS software is given free (as in beer) in order to entice contributions of code and maybe money. It's like those holiday charities that send you return labels and ask that "try to find it in your heart to donate". It's an advertising method as well as a software philosophy.

@jupiterthunder: Nope. It's meant as stated. It'd be like giving somebody a list of foods you're allergic to and they brain fart into buying you everything on it.

My favorite coffee brewer is the Hamilton Beach brew station. The coffee "pot" is sealed inside so it doesn't evaporate off. The metal heat conductor has never had to be cleaned of dead coffee tar.

@Brandt: I used to work there. It's not set up for that. The only question is if that's due to a management decision or need for some infrastructure first.

@Brandt: Nice. My costco can't do that. You have to pay at the food court for everything except whole pizzas.

A good follow up article should be "how to make your presentations not suck". The fabled powerpoint video is good, but we need something to forward to people lacking senses of humor.
