I feel the exact same way. I don't have much invested in the Apple infrastructure so I could easily switch. The more I think about it, the more a WP7 would fit into my ideal of having a Win7 based digital library feeding Xboxes, phone, and a Win8 tablet.

Anything less than the renders with the larger screen/slimmer unibody will be a huge disappointment for me. Enough that I will be patient enough for Nokia to release some WP7 hardware. I'll probably end up with a WP7 in a few years anyway as I'm already on the Win8 tablet bandwagon, just waiting on proper hardware. …

I'm using FF now out of sheer habit. But since IE9 has caught up with the FF experience in many ways and uses less memory, it's definitely creeping back up in usage for me.

You should patent the number 5. Then they'll have to regroup on the iPhone naming scheme. Maybe use vPhone.......viPhone....viiPhone....etc

I agree on the start screen as many times users just need snippets of info instead of full applications or web browsing. You can get a lot of info from a few tiles and then go into the full app if you need further information or have to begin creating something.

The latest Macrumors rumor is stating no significant redesign. I hope that's not the case for the long wait. Otherwise a Nokia WP7 may be in my future.
