Don’t goaltend.

If you’re defending, by at midfield, if you see your team get AHEAD of the ball, get back, but otherwise, be ready to push back balls that get pushed around the corner by the defense.

Only get back in the goal when your other teammates are ahead of the ball, meaning you are the last line of defense.

I like it.

What’s nice is that it has training mode, vs. AI matches, online play, minigames for advanced training, etc. It’s a very complete game.

The shot going in was luck. Making the amazing save, which put himself in position to get lucky, wasn’t.

The thing is, getting luck in Rocket League isn’t just about chance. If you play positionally and don’t interfere with teammates too much, you’ll get “lucky” by being in the right place and at right time.

I love how at the end of the highlight, he just sits there in disbelief at his play.

You obviously weren’t in your first reply, and I wasn’t done mocking that.

It’s a fantastic interface, easily the best interface on the phone market.

And no one will ever use it.

You thought Divinity:Shit we did it again was a serious totle suggestion?

So I’m racist because I don’t like Kickstarter. Did you actually read that shit before you hit “publish?”

Oh look. Another guy taking a blatantly obvious joke post as serious.

Oh, you must be that guy who tries to break down jokes and over explain things that no one actually was serious about.

Don’t you have a party to get to? And then leave early when people stop talking to you?

I played the game. Just because you found a rose in a turd patch doesn’t mean you should stick your hands back in. Kickstarter is filled with shit. Just because I support developers doesn’t mean I pre-order, which is what this is.

What a save!
What a save!
What a save!

Also, how can you have the second original sin? Can’t there be only original sin? At that point, it should be called “Divinity: The Second Sin” or “Divinity: Shit, we did it again, didn’t we?”

I see the argument about freedom, and it’s been the only argument in this entire thread that has somewhat swayed me a little. That said, the reason publishers limit freedom is important. It’s not because its the man coming down on the developers. They do it because often artists (and video game devs ABSOLUTELY deserve

I never said I wouldn’t buy it. I said I wouldn’t preorder it.

For the note, that wasn’t my post, and I’m not going to defend it.

First off, less just brush over your massive condescension and say that your heart was in the right place. I’ll assume that was intended to be informational, and leave it at that.

The difference between using a publisher and self publishing is important, and there are limitations in using a publisher. However, hosting

I appreciate all the trouble with D:OS. I honestly do.

But once you have a proven product, financing options open up a lot more. Crowdfunding seems, basically, like a massive preorder event when other options exist.

So, I think people need to actually focus on what I said.

I never said “Larian is a bad company.” I never said “Don’t contribute to this game.”

What I’m saying is that clearly the company has the clout to go through more traditional funding options, and it concerns me that Kickstarter is seen as just a thing games do

How is that “the other option”? Games are made all the time with a publisher, not by bullying cities. Just because John Oliver noted a serious problem with stadium building does not mean that metaphor applies to everything.
